We need the bathroom finished:
- complete the bathroom ceiling
- bolt the toilet to the floor
- frame the door
- install vent in bathroom
- install fan that goes out (not recycled air) in kitchen
Any recommendations on what we should do to avoid problems in the future is appreciated.

At the moment I will make a bid for -completing bathroom ceiling -bolting and silicon the toilet -framing the door All those works I would finish in 1-2 days. All the materials for the work are included in the price and I can get them. It's complicated to make a bid for the ventilation works since I don't know which ventilation fan and solution do you prefer, also the condition and material of the external wall. At first look I would say though, that ventilation works with the materials would be roughly 1000-1600 €. Im happy to discuss it in the chat. |

I’d like to have some additional information to make a bid.
What type of material are you planning to have in bathroom ceiling ?
Is there any existing ventilation in the house yet or would you like the bathroom ventilation to go through external wall ?
Will the builder be responsible to purchase all the materials including the toilet ?

Thanks for asking. First off, the toilet we have and it is mounted! Sorry, my bad, it needs to be bolted to the floor though, it can easily be moved.
There is no existing vent system but both for the bathroom and kitchen, the wall is external so it can go through to the external wall if that is best/easiest.
I’d love the builder to purchase the material. But I also can if needed. I currently don’t have anything.
Lastly regarding ceiling, I don’t know! Something basic is fine; the bathroom floor and walls are not fancy. I just want it done well enough that mold won’t be an issue in the future.
